Networking Companies? Good or Scam?

Hello,
I have been noticing that networking companies have been growing and popping up around the Philippines like wild fire. Is this type of business also seen in other places around the world? Give your opinions about this type of money making activity? Does it really work? Or is it just a waste of time?

My advice to you would be to "BE CAREFUL." If you find something that you can believe in, check it out first. My wife and I are committed to one company that uses Multi Level Marketing which is also known as Network Marketing. The company that we are affiliated with is called Dri Wash n Guard. I realize that you are in a foreign country. I am sorry to point out that after you asked. I checked with my marketing director and found out that the company does not have an agreement that is valid where you are. The cost would be far more than would be reasonable to start up. At this time the company has an agreement with The United States and Canada. It may happen in the future but, at this time, it doesn't look very promising.
