Hi friends, Today while I was coming back from office, I saw a car coming my way which was one way and only 2 wheeler can go forward so I tried to tell the Car guy about same and he misunderstood my message. He thought that I am trying to block him to go forward on this way and he started abusing me, he stopped his car and came out to argue with me. I was still cool and tried to make him understand but he pushed me back. I thought he will not get my point and started my bike, when I started my bike he came on my way and that was just crazy. Some other people came to inturrupt hin and I could come home. I was trying to help him and he took it otherwise. It was unfortunate. Did you ever experienced something like this, did someone misunderstand you?

On Indian roads, its a normal thing which we come across every day. There is nothing new about it. Everyday on the roads while going to office or way back home, I see this very often. It is a normal scene on Indian roads and especially where traffic is more.

It was first time for me to get into this situation, I am upset because it was none of my fault and tried to help that guy so that he is not disappointed once he looks at the road blocked for 4 wheelers. Thank You for sharing.

I have never had it happen to me that way. My misfortune is usually being in the passanger seat of the guy that has road rage and tries to start the fights with innocent people. I feel so badly for people that come in contact with these rude people. What I have noticed from riding with my overly angry friend is he is always mad for some other reason but takes it out on the innocent people who cross his path of distruction. You did the right thing by keeping your cool and leaving. Almost makes you not want to try and help anyone at all.

I guess that guy was not happy for some reason and that is why he caught me to get out all his frustation. Hope I will never meet such strangers in future, they are just bad for everything. Thank you for sharing.

I've experienced some of those. I think it's better to keep reserved until you're asked for help instead of helping someone and getting dissed cuz of it. The latter is a nut breaker. I mean, it really hurts your ego. You're giving your hand for help but instead, he cuts it off.

True, I will be mute untill someone ask for the help. It hurts when people misunderstand and talk badly. Thank you for sharing.

Hi Ajay, That is quite a common thing to happen in India - People mostly misunderstand when you try to tell them anything for their good or worst - point out their mistakes. I never do this now. But had this incident happened when I was at college, it would have raised a heated argument no doubt that... I was quite straight forward and non-adjusting when I knew I was right. Cheers, theSids.

It was too much crowd and I could not manage to park my bike and talk to that guy. He just concluded meaning and I did not get enough to talk what I was trying to tell him. Now, I am not going to tell anything similar to anyone on the road even if s/he is going to jump from 100th flr of the building. Thank You for sharing.

Yes, we used same language and he heard what I said. May be he had fight before me and the earlier anger was still on. Thank you for sharing.
