Who else believe in death and rebirth? well that may depend upon the religion that you are following. Where do you think we go after death? Why some people are born poor when others are born rich. Why some people are born handsome when others are born ugly? Why some people die at very young age while some other lives till 90s and why some accidents happens to some peoples?

The cruel and immoral notion of karma and rebirth is nothing to do with cause and effect.
