For me the most valuable book in the whole world is the HOLY BIBLE. I just dont know why people dont read the BIBLE instead they are reading magazine`s or something thats is not that valuable than the BIBLE. HOw about you do you agree BIBLE is the most valuable book of all? Do you read BIBLE? What do you think why people prefer reading other books than the HOLY BIBLE? Comments should be descriptive to help others understand it:)

Shalom zenkey, I agree with you that the Holy Bible is the most valuable book of all. I have my personal Bible, I love it and always read it. The Bible contains the word of God. Jesus once said in the Book of Matthew 4:4 and I quote, "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word the comes out from the mouth of God." For me, this is my spiritual food that nourishes my soul and spirit. Futhermore, when I read the Bible, I see myself, the wrongs that I have done, all my iniquities and sins in the sight of the One who gave me life. With that I am reminded to shun the wrong and do what is pleasing in the eyes of God. Finally, in my own observation and as what I have heard from some of my friends that people prefer to read other books than the Bible because they say it is a boring Book. Or maybe many people love to do evil things as opposite to what the Bible teaches about them. They just can not give up what offers them enjoyment and satisfaction.

There is nothing wrong with reading the Bible. Just like there is nothing wrong with reading a Reader's Digest or a related magazine or booklet. All magazines have some sort of entertainment, game, facts, or quizzical theory in it that helps to shape not only who we are but how the world acts and what hte world has become. The Bible does have some really good facts in it, for example, the information about what foods are clean and such. The Bible also has parables, stories, in it that teaches us as well. You can cross reference almost any book though. I can't really say there is no fair equal book, just opinion.
