What is the best bicep workout with dumb bells or cables, for growth & strength?

i have been doing regular curls and stuff and curls with the cables but it doesnt seem like its really doing anything and other exercises or workouts thats good for growth?

I think the best exercise for gaining strength in the arm area, as well as the chest area is the standard push up. By placing your arms in different positions you can also work the tricep area. Twenty one's are good too (3-7's). Another good one is to lay on your side, with top arm over the side, and use this arm to push yourself up. You will feel the burn!

The best that I recommend is the barbell curls and dumbbell curls. Dumbbell curls work on each arm while barbell curls work on two arms together with the chest. Another exercise you can do with the dumbbell curls is the 'three 7s', which means doing the first 7 curls up till halfway up the arm, then continue another 7 times from halfway to the top of the arm, then lastly, do the normal dumbbell curls 7 times. You have to do it continuously but stop if you find it too vigorous. This is the best pump for the biceps.
