I am really sad about the JS Prom of my son. He's a fourth year high school. Why is it that this school (public) don't allow their school to have the JS Prom. So sorry for the students they miss one of their most happy high school life.

Because, as you may have noticed, teen pregnancy rates and the number of school drop outs are going up. Your school may just be taking preventive steps to lessen those numbers. You know, proms are one of the leading factors why teenagers want to be in a relationship that early. And also, since your school is public, the budget that would be used for your prom can be used for better and more beneficial stuff like buying new books, repairing or building of new facilities or a salary increase for your teachers. I suggest that while you are still young, try to be open minded and always try to look on the brighter side of things. After all, that JS Prom is not and will not be the basis of how happy your high school life would be. It's how you spend and make use of your high school time. So enjoy and stop thinking about that prom. There are better things ahead for you in school. :)
