Coca-Cola and Pepsi are two of the biggest softdrink makers in the world. Every softdrink has a counter-part: Coke=Pepsi, Sprite=7Up, Royal Tru-Orange=Mirinda, Mellow-Yellow=Mountain Dew. However, Mellow Yellow is gone already (at least here in my country, i dont know in other country). I've been wondering why Coca-Cola (for so long now) hasn't come-up with a softdrink to counter Mountain Dew in the market?? It is because Mountain Dew just taste so good that it's unbeatable??

I haven't even heard of mellow yellow before! Anyway, I think you are probably right, Coca-cola can't beat Mountain Dew! Maybe they should buy our local version of Mountain Dew, "Sparkle"!

There is a 'mellow yellow'... it was introduced in the market by Coca Cola in 1979. I was just a small kid then. I believe it still exist in the US I guess.
