Work out or Herbal supplements - which is best?

I am seeing lot of promotions for Herbal supplements for losing weight. And I am seeing lot of promises like "guaranteed results", "no side effects", etc. No doubt, supplements will be effective. What I wonder is how far people believe in those promises and the products. (In my observation, many people fear to consume anything that they don't know much about.) Which is your preferred option to lose weight - work out or supplements? (Me? I believe in work out mostly and known supplements little.)

You can combine both if you like since working out is to burn the fats away and supplement can help internally. So outside and inside is the solution but you need to be careful of what herbal brand to trust. Only select a herbal supplement that is FDA approved with ISO certification and has past health certificates and with recognitions. But most of all, it was advice to be taken by your physician.

I believe in using some supplements, such as: Coq10, Creatine, fish oil and whey isolate protein. Working out at least...45-60 minutes a day, strength training at least five days a week, drinking lots of water (and I need to get back into this habit) and eating at least 1g of protein per body weight. That does the trick :) Oh yes, of course you have to have a healthy diet including fat, protein and carbs.

I believe in working out more. Last time, I was a gym-goer but quit after a few months as I was playing badminton for 4 times a week and if I continue gyming, it'll take a toll on my body.

I think a good combination of each aspect as well as a healthy and balanced diet is what is best. Have you ever read the Slight Edge by Jeff Olson? A little bit here, and a little bit there applied consistently over time can snowball into massive results long term. Sincerely and With Appreciation.
