I had an emergency scope done this morning and had two active bleeding ulcers on my esophagus. They cauterized them and put me on an increased dose of Prilosec. I wanted to know if anyone knows which foods are okay to eat. All my doctor said was avoid fatty foods and high acid foods. I tried to find some sites online that gave me more info. but they gave the same advice. That isn't very specific. I want more specifics. I know to avoid spicy food and tomatoes but what else?

Normally, foods that are high in sugar like starchy foods and animal meat tend to be acidic in nature. But green leafy vegetables, they tend to be alkaline. Also, those foods with high affinity to acid, they are pro-cancer while those basic and alkaline, they are anti-cancer.
