Calling all Filipino Folks out there. I would be needing your help. My best friend from Australia will be coming home on December 22 and will spend the holidays here in the Philippines. What wonderful places can you suggest to take her to? She's been away from our country for 6 six years and i want her vacation here to be as fascinating as possible. We have a lot of catching up to do so i just want to know what sites or places should we go to make her stay here all worth it.

I haven't yet been to the Philippines. However I have ideas of where your Australian friend would like to see. I think that she would like Bohol Island and the Chocolate Hills. There are some lovely beaches within easy reach of Cebu Island like those on Malapascua Island. If she gets the chance she should visit Sugar Beach on Sipalay Island. White Beach on Baracay Island is the most popular beach in the Philippines. I hope that your friend will have a lovely time.

there's boracay, of course. plus, a number more from visayas, mindanao, and luzon. but your friend must also be specific about the kind of places that she wants to visit here. like if she wants beaches, there are many to choose from aside from boracay, cebu, and many others. great waterfalls can also be found in mindanao like iligan and davao. in camiguin, there are hot springs and cold springs, the sunken cemetery, waterfalls also, beautiful white beach sandbars, etc. in davao, there's the butterfly, orchid, and eagle sanctuaries aside from the beautiful beaches, plus nice native souvenir items and clothing, lol. if she likes old churches or vintage towns, check out vigan, in ilocos, and iloilo. for surfing, check out siargao. you can actually ask the help of local tourism offices for details, including hotels and other forms of accommodation. good luck, enjoy, and welcome to your dear friend!

hello steph, There are lots of places to visit here in our country. Depends on your budget and how far you and your friend wants to go. If you lived in southern part of our country, you can always visit beautiful places in Visayas and Davao as well. Take note of chocolate hills,or the famous beaches in Cebu. Those enchanted places in Palawan and Boracay. If you want to take North, then aside from Baguio you can go directly to Sagada famous of those hanging coffins or the Rice Terraces and scenic spots of Mountain Province famous for those Pink Sisters. Lot of places to visit and explore in our country. Hope you and your friend will enjoy the up coming tour

You should go to a historical places in Manila. You can go to Jose Rizal park, Intramuros, places near Intramuros,Ocean park and other places in Manila. You should try to ride a jeepney and kalesa. If you want outside Metro Manila, you should go to Boracay for a vacation.I hoped that it doesn't rain in Boracay.

I would recommend going to Boracay. The sand there is very white and the water is very clear. Another one is the Chocolate Hills in Bohol. You can even see tarsiers there. Another is the Spanish heritage houses in Vigan. You can buy souvenirs and Filipino foods there.
