My battery did the same thing and my phone kept turning off. I truly think that you should buy a new battery to avoid damage to your phone.

Although it is still usable it is not 100% sure that it is safe. I have heard a news before that bloated batteries should be replaced by a new one because this can cause the phone to explode and even fire when charging your phone.

Hi asliah, A battery that gets out of shape indicates pressure build up from gases and chemicals inside. These are oftentimes harmful. Worse, it cause damage to the unit and may explode and cause fire while on the process of charging. Dispose old batteries properly. Do not send to the trash bin as other garbage. Some companies recycle old batteries, check out your local dealers for this.

Throw your bloated battery out. Buy a new one. Don't wait for it to bloat and bloat then explode. I mean, when your battery is charging, it has the tendency to explode. Do not wait for that time to come and the situation gets worse.

I don't think it's safe at all. It's bloated and there is a great danger of overheating or explosion and you might hurt yourself. Or worts, when you're charging, it can cause fire and burn down your house. It's better to change your battery. Like the old saying goes, it's better safe that never!

i suggest that you don't use the bloated battery anymore.. based on experience, if you continue using that kind of battery, it might be too risky.. bloated batteries would eventually explode and might ruin your mobile phone as well.. my cousin had that battery and still continued using it.. then one time when he was actually charging his phone, it suddenly exploded.. good thing that he was able to remove the plug before a fire on the socket started.. the battery was destroyed.. as well as his phone.. so if you can just buy a new one, that would be better.. and safer..
