My sister got mugged today

She got jumped by three guys outside of her apartment. She didn't see them coming. She also doesn't remember what happened. Apparently she screamed. Some lady found her unconscious on the street and brought her to her apartment and called the police. She has a big bump on her head and her knee was bleeding. She may have a concussion. She lives in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. I thought it was a generally safe neighborhood, but guess I was wrong. I guess her potential roommate's parents were right when they didn't let their son move there after seeing the neighborhood. Now she has to move out. She's staying with friends right now, but I'm worried about her. She goes most places by herself. They took her Evo, which she had just got, but the police could not track the GPS. I think they target people with smart phones just like they target cars with stereos or GPS.
