Google Chrome OS will be available for standart users in the next 2011 year. Do any of myLot users planning to use it, buy notebook with google operating system or in any other way try to test it? I think Google Chrome OS will look great, but there is still too many unanswered questions about hardware support and the ways how it will work on different computers. Still could be awesome and interesting to see how Google servers will have, use and backup all our work done on Chrome OS in their servers.

Well, I will just have to wait and see before I decide to switch. I have been accustomed to using windows 7 and have found it great. Usually for new released OS, there are always problems. So, I am gonna just stick to what I have been used to and wait a while if it is really worthy to be used.

Ok, but who telling you to switch? I dont think Chrome OS will be for games, huge applications etc, so you still will need your windows 7 for that purposes. Chrome OS will be more like utility for only documents stuff i think.

Hello Friend, The best part about the proposed Chrome OS is the space it demands, which is less than 10 MB, which means you can mail someone an entire operating system, as against the current windows OS, which takes more than 2 GB on my disk. It will give us the flexibility to keep windows installed on our machines and we can choose whichever one we feel like using. I would give it a try for sure.
