You know whenever I see that I feel sad. It's like "aww". The people who joined this discussion are right. We are in a globalized world, and the internet should free. Yes we cannot react if the government of a country decides to restrict a cite for safety reasons, but if in this case it isn't that way. I hope internet rules will be change - if there are any rules at all.

Hello, It may definitely sound discriminatory. But lets not be sentimental about it. They can't accept workers from outside the US just because they can't afford it. It means they have a very small business and they can't operate overseas. You can't expect every site to be as big as myLot or Bukisa. There are sites that are restricted for Indian users only. These sites are mainly about data entry jobs and article writing. You really can't blame them for doing that. To launch a business at international level, you need huge fund and advanced technologies. Some have them, some don't. So it'll be better if we don't take it to our heart. Thanks. God bless you.

Something is on the internet doesn't mean that it's open to all. You can hide your blog from search engines. Many people do so because they want their blog to be private. You have accounts in social networking sites where you upload pictures, and though they are on internet not every people have access to that data. You really can't make such a claim in a place where everyone enjoys some extent of personal freedom.

I agree with you that all companies can not afford to go global But if you were shot to open their business in the Internet must be open to all And acts like data entry jobs and article writing There is no difference between to be paid by U.S. or Philippine

Well it will definitely be a turn down for sure! I feel kinda like "aww noooo" stuff like that when I approaches such websites. Besides that, if we could earn a nice amount from that particular website, I will be even more frustrated!

Of course no. I don't feel offended by that. i can also make my own site and program and said it only for malaysian. but of course we like it to be as global as possible. With nowadays payment can be made easy and safely via paypal, global internet business is so easy so most of us from asian country would like to get members all around the world. Sometimes the site owner don't want to to have the fuss dealing with people outside their own country for their own convenient.

I sometimes feel annoyed when that happens. In this era of globalization, these incidents are contradictory. One of the major reasons for this is copyright. There are US TV shows I want to watch. If I miss them on TV, there is a legal free streaming from the official websites. But when I want to watch there, it says it's only for US territory. If I can tell them one thing, it's "It is not my fault I'm not born there". It's really a bummer.

I don't feel discriminated of feel like the internet are only for US citizen's use. Internet is very wide and many people can really use it any time anywhere. It's just that some contents are only for this particular country so some other countries can't view it. There are a lot other options for us to use with the same or more or less the same content as those that can be viewed by other countries. It's fine, i believe that there are also sites that American people can't view and can only be viewed in your country ;)

It is so sad sometimes. Like, some websites are racist or something. they only have these offers ( really good ones ) only for people in America, England, Australia and the like. I think it should be open to all....

Well it really hurts us lots but as a whole I am well aware that the policy of such websites mostly target the US citizens as they demographically not available to our location. But at times its get really irritate and annoyed by it.
