What's your take? Are you a dog or cat type person and why?

I'm a dog person because there are so many types of dogs and they seem to have more of their own personalities. You can just play more with dogs.

I like dogs for their faithfulness, and cats for their alertness and sure shot hunting capacity. Normally, when you want to like a particular thing you look forward only on positive qualities and ignore negative ones. and vice versa when you want to dislike a thing.

I love them both, but right now I just have 2 old cats. They are really loveable, but they encourage me to cuddle up and stay in where it's warm. I need a little dog that I could walk and play fetch etc with. That would help me do more. I really love my cats though.

i prefer cats. They are less of a hassle than dogs. You dont have to worry if they dig in the garden and bark all the time. My cats are fixed so they just hang out at home. I love them to bits

I don't like cats, but i love dogs! I really can't say why... maybe it's just because i grow up with a dog!

I am a dog person - definately a dog person ... I am now helping out in the humane society to clean and feed the cats ..Damn I can't stand the little kittens ...The bigger once are OK though but the babies ??? Guess something is wrong with me...LOL

Totally a dog lover here. A dog is loyal to the end, I have seen dog who have been beaten and STILL love there owner! I'm not saying beating your dog is right, just making a point. A dog will forever love you when a cat will love you as long as you feed it, then most want nothing to do with you. A dog is your bestfriend, companion and protector.
