Just kidding. What are the common reasons people become vegetarians except those who were brought up to be vegetarians?

To answer your question , so wouldn't because an eagg is used to make them! I assume there are as many reasons to become a vegetarian as their Are vegetarians! One reason I have heard is because they can't stand knowing an animal gave up his/her life for them to eat. I also think a main reason is health related. Many Have to cut down on red meat and they decide to forgo meat all together. These are just guesses. I don't like vegetables and i love meat.

Vegetarian eats veggies, so what do humanitarians eat? JK Well, I would guess that regarding the world's population most vegetarians are brought up by vegetarian. I think those who convert are just a minority in vegetarianism. Yeah meat is good, you can get all your protein needs plus other good stuff from red meat. In a vegetarian diet, you need to find so many different veggie combination to get the same nutrients where in a steak, it's already in it.

Depending on your religion, and some of the rules that govern it, it can be. For example, if somebody converts to Islam but doesn't know how to perform halal slaughter correctly (and assuming there are no halal butchers anywhere around), then that person would be forced to become vegetarian, as any meat consumed MUST comply with halal food laws.

That vegetarians unwittingly eat non-vegetarian is a fact. Pro biotic food like yogurt, Yeast, fermented food and such have a lot of living organisms which are living creatures. As far as I know, the health reasons for a non vegetarian to take to vegetarianism are: 1: Risk of heart disease due to Cholesterol. 2: Digestive diorders. 3: Protein intolerance. 4: Renal decease. There can be moral and religious issues also.
