Is Adoption Baby Show is necessary?

Hello friends, Do you believe Baby Adoption Shows are necessary when you are adopting a new child? I believe that it add a positive impact on your adopted child that your family wanting him/her. What you think? What are the other benefits of this?

That is an interesting question. I wold think that adoption shows would not be good for the self esteem of the child. Children that really need a home, put on display and then to have someone else picked over them just doesn't seem appropriate. Do they really do that in some countries? Maybe the only benefit, would be that the prospective parents would have more options and getting matched to the child that fits their ideal.
