This is the second time this month that I had to defend my autistic daughter at a store. Friday we decided to do a little christmas shopping with our two special needs children in tow one being autistic. We are checking out and she is doing her whining thing that she sometimes does not be overly loud but she is standing next to me. when the young man is all done checking me out he looks at me and says IF SHE WERE MY KID I WOULD BEAT HER. I said you would, would you. Well she is autistic. He said sorry. I said to him this is a lesson learned do not judge some one whom you do not know the circumstances.I said God Bless you and I hope you do not have a special needs child. I do not keep my little girl out of the public I do take her out of the stores if she is out of control. If she is whining I just leave her. You can tell by her actions that she is not a normal bratty cry you can tell she is different, different of not I feel she has a place in this world to and people should be more aware of special needs children they do not belong being in a prison of their home they should be able to explore the world also. What do you guys think?

Don't pay attention to those kinds of people, the young man who told you that will probably never be as good parent as you. People have no manners these days i guess, too bad there are just more and more of them.
