On dry roads, or even wet roads it usually takes me 30 minutes to get to work. The roads have been icier than I ever remember. It took m e over two hours, I was one hour late. Many people called in, many people were late. I think I was one of the latest. This morning was a duplicate, except I left even earlier. 7:15. Got to work around 9:05. This afternoon was a little better. I'm thinking of taking a differant route tomorrow. So how about you. Have the roads been treacherous?

My normal drive to work and home is half an hour each way. That's on dry days, but even on rainy days. However, the last couple of days have been worse. Tonight there was so much traffic that it took over an hour to get home and it shouldn't have taken that long. It didn't matter what route I took, I was stuck. It wasn't just the road conditions, they were bad, but tolerable. Too much traffic and lousy tires really didn't help my commute. Hopefully it gets better in the coming days.

Well, I'm not working right now, so I haven't had to be on the roads for the last two days. I do hate commuting though and it was treacherous on many occasions when I did. I would leave for work at 7:00 and arrive at 7:40. Sometimes a different route is good to shake things up a bit, after all we don't want them being alike.

Sorry to hear that but we don't get that here in El paso Texas, the roads are fine thank god. I don't really like the snow. However last year it snowed, maybe one inch or two and people did freak out, this was so unusual to see around here.Be safe.As for this year I think things are going to be like years before no snow and lows in the upper 30s
