Hello fellow Mylotters. Tonight is Tuesday night, and NCIS is on. Can you believe dish network began downloading the television guide in the middle of my show? For at least three minutes it was down. I shut the tv off a few times, but the message was still there. How can these people run paid tv like this and sleep at night?
In the middle of NCIS! They have no conscience. Cruel, cruel dish network!

Hi ,
the problems you experince may be due to a system update... all satalite providers update there embeded software to the end users recievers a few times per year . they do this you you can have the best viewing experince . it dosent mean they have a hiccup on there end its usaly the set top boxes . did you recently format a DVR or reset a reciever?

No, nothing was reformatted. They download the program guide every other day. Usually they do it in the morning, but last night they did it during my show.
