Lillian Lowe is the oldest facebooker on the world who still a life, she 103 years old, and replace the previous who died on 104 years old.

Wow that is fantastic, I'm wondering if she really is active on Facebook and is doing all kind of things around or maybe just simply keeping in touch with her friends. I would probably keep my facebook account as long as I can even though I'm not that active around. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

Wow! This is the first time I heard about it. I'm not that active on knowing people behind facebook. Though I usually use it. Anyway, if she is really 103 years of age, how come she can still read the posts, comments and status of her friends? Maybe, her grandson and granddaughters are the ones who are in-charge on her account. They just name it after her.
But, that is really awesome.

I just know it too zaga, but, my grandma maybe almost 70 years old and she never use eyeglass for reading.
I wonder my grandma, I must ask the secret!!!! lol

Of course it's not possible that she started facebook during her teen years since facebook just started recently as early as 1990's.
But her grandchildren might teach her how to use the site same thing with other older people who are members of facebook.

sure why not if only my grandma is still alive i would surely teach her and would create an account for her to be able to reach her distant relatives whom i haven't met in my life.
facebook gives me the opportunity of reaching and meeting my long lost cousins,
so,not bad about internet world...it even keeps me in touch with long lost friend for 32 years.

Maybe their grandchildren put them on Facebook more as a joke or publicity then anything else. I am sure their eye sight is frail and also they have no idea how to use such things.

when you have a lot time on computer, then when you finished, go to a green area like a garden, or just tree, and its refresh our eyes.

She must have a very clear vision. Majority of those who will reach that age will have a problem of sight. She might learn it from her grandchildren since it is not possible that she learn it during her teenage life. We all know that facebook exist not that long.

I don't think I will be using a computer at that age unless we are all jacked to a super computer by then!
It is also possible that her relatives put up the account for her to connect with people that know her or she knows. It may be a way for her to connect with her family as well giving her the desire to live longer.
It is not necessarily a scam or a publicity.

My friend ok she is old of her age for facebook but it is mentioned since her teen joined facebook? I don't think so because as I know the founder of facebook only 26 years years old and last issue of TIME magazine he is the cover. Meaning she is the oldest user of facebook but not longest user of facebook. see you around...

It could be fake? Just because she is old doesnt mean she cant keep up with the times. I would like to think that as I grow older, I would keep up with modern technology and not be a techo-phob!

I admire this lady,but in a away it's a good thing she started using facebook at such an old age;I find it hard to believe that a young person which spends a lot of time on the internet might reach that impressive age.I suppose that lady lived in a healthy environment which helped her have such a long life.Anyway,she deserves our respect.

yes polaris, this lady deserve our respect if her truly can use the facebook and internet. not much the old people like her interest to the internet, and when she have passion to learn it, its cool.
