friends, day before yesterday I did a task in mylot. the rate of the task is 0.20$. task creater is rachelw 89. the person ask the employees to write their email address. so I wrote my email address. the the person send an email, which contains his/her referral link of minti.com to me. I join in that through the referral link which was in his email. But the person has rejected my task and didn't pay me. I was told that i am joined not as his/her referral. full cheating. I send a fried request to the person. But the person didn't accept or reject the request. so i visited his/her profile. the person is here in mylot for more than one year, but started only one discussion. friends tell me something about this matter. do you also have experience like this.

I am very wary of: - NOT completing sign-up tasks. They are a violation and admin deletes them therefore we risk not seeing our reward. - NOT sending my email address to persons/sites that I do not know. MyLot are not responsable for tasks posted by users so I think that all you can do is learn from this experience.

Hi johnpillai, I have done a few tasks here on mylot, and always when approved, have been paid for it promptly.I am not sure why your task was rejected? I have a feeling that the person is paying only a few members and getting the benefit of others which is of course not right. It is good that you mentioned the name of the member so that everyone is careful in the future...all the best and have a nice evening

Hi kiran8. I am not so worried. I just spent 5 minutes. I want to alert my mylot friends. that's why I started this discussion. I doubted the person because he started no discussion though he have been more than one year hear. He misuse mylot. this is my first expereience in being rejected by a task giver. we should be careful when seeing people who starts 0 discussions

so sorry you have been cheated.....it happens on and off-line, all we can do is to report the person and keep going...do not let it stop or deter you....i had a terrible experience on-line with a company called ugno which also owns saybux....i spent a lot of time on the site, did tons of marketing, wrote all kinds of how-to guides and did tons of work with referrals......i was not working over the summer so i threw myself completely into this work, thinking that i would get paid and i never did, i was owed over $1000 and never received it and i learned about many of the negatives that can occur on-line (people creating many fake profiles, outright lies, people creating numerous scamming sites and just outright thieves....scammers go through a lot of trouble to appear legitimate and will continue to lie and scam to keep their game going----their game is to get as much of your money out of your hands into theirs)..... so report this person, remember and learn from this experience and just move forward....do not let it stop you in any way....

your story is very sad. Actually mylot helps us a lot to find legit sites through our good friends. I just wanted to stop his cheating.I will be happy if my discussion helps.

hi, thanks for your comments. the most important thing for me is that i learned something and i can take that away and keep moving forward. i went through a period of being obsessed and contacting all of these agencies to get the scammer exposed. i was sad, hurt and just felt betrayed but i learned a lot and my eyes are wide open now. i just hope others realize that when things seem strange or become fishy, they probably are, trust yourself and get out. don't waste your time...it is too valuable!

Cheater and ghost has many appearance in this work. So how you will understand them ? Only for 0.20$ people are scamming in the net. However, you delete or reject your sign up and inform the minti.com supports or admin. that you have been cheating by one of their member and send his/her referral link there. Then the cheater will be punished well. Thanks for sharing this experience which will be an Alert for myLot members and a bomb shell to the cheater.

I think you can bring this person's username to the knowledge of mylot. Mylot may not encourage such cheaters. Some people ask us to join sites under their referral and say they will share the commission with us. Ultimately they will not share any commission but they will be benefited by our joining the sites under their downline as a percentage of our earnings will go to them. What to do, people should have conscience.

hai it happens sometimes.i too have experience like this but not here but in microworkers. one asked me to sign up in GoJiyo. they ask me proof as my verification email and my ip address. but i did not get verification email after sign up. then what can i to blame. the task provider or gojiyo. so from here after we should be careful in doing jobs. only accept the taskd that are proven and legit. thanks for sharing your experience

Sorry that this happened to you. You should report this person to the admin and let them handle it. Sign up tasks are a violation of the guidelines and they will be deleted. That person just want to play a fool here but don't worry, that person will be get rid of eventually.

Hi John, That is the sad part of the Internet. I am sure that MyLot would have some policy towards this but on serious grounds, I tried the TASKS only thrice - and that too when I had joined MyLot. Ever since I never even looked at that section. Not interesting as I found the payments to be quite cheap and nothing useful. Regards, theSids.

That is really bad and I feel so sorry for you. This guy got his way to gain referral without losing any by cheating. I hope he's not going to do anything else worse than that and hopefully he will get banned for doing something like that soon. Thanks for sharing and have a nice day

From what you say there are cheats everywhere and those in mylot are no exception. But mylot site is genuine paying site and there is no doubt about it.I have received my first payment. But better to get little real money than false promises of big money which we dont't get at all...

It is not better to join any links unless confirming it.Nowadays everyone is trying to make some quick money by hook or crook. It is better to stay away from such link .Please do not submit your email to this type of organisation.Mylot is safe

Life is not easy, as we want to think that others are as honest as we are. Last year this time I lost £70 to someone who had hacked a friend´s email and found my address there. Then that person emailed me, pretending to be this friend who had been robbed and lost all her money and needed a loan, and I believed it all, swallowed the bait.. It was a good thing I hadn´t so much to send, but it was a lot of money for me. Later I contacted this friend -the real person - via Facebook, and she had not been robbed of course. The hacker had changed her email address with just one letter, which I detected later..so the money was lost.. I wonder if the same hacker is still active?? At least I and some others who saw the discussion I started about this here in myLot, got a good lesson that they should not believe all "friends" who ask them for money, especially via e-mail..
