This is the best Ultra violent anime I ever watched, The only thing I dont like is the unnecessary nudity but the writer have good explanation about it, The main reason I liked it is the character development and its kinda anti-cliche, The storyline is very tragic and despite of all the violence and gore a guy can watch it with his girlfriend because it has pure and innocent romance on it but the romance is tolerable for guys since there is depth and gore that guys enjoy.
The protagonist is a girl named Lucy, she is born with horns and pink hair, her different appearance makes her rejected by the society, she is discriminated and bullied. She have strong telekinesis that can mutilate and dismember people. After being seen as a monster and having miserable life she became a murderous Psychopath.
I love the depth of the story because the protagonist is Evil, You are supposed to hate her but her life makes you feel sorry for her too.
The soundtrack of this anime is popular to church choir competition....because its sang by a soprano and the lyrics is in Latin. I also like the fact its short, it doesn't have useless fillers.

i like the series .. one of the most violent anime ive ever watched . The anime is unique on its own , its not just about brutality / superpower but as you go deeper you'll see some values such as friendship , love of parent for a child . Just with a different approach . A must see for gore anime fans out there! =))

Its the story that really engaged me to this anime, The personalities of characters were so real and relatable even the evil murderous Lucy. We know she is evil because she lived a hard life that triggered all the anger and loneliness that makes her the monster that she is.

Yeah its really amazing how the Murderous and evil Lucy becomes sweet and innocent due to to her amnesia.

My favorite character is Nana, Just like Lucy she had been through the same pain and suffering but she kept her sanity and she never became evil. The ending in the anime and manga were different. Despite of the the violence the story is awesome. I am a creepy looking guy but it has scenes that can make people cry
