How do you celebrate your Christmas? I usually go home to my family whre my mom and dad are and we just prepare food to eat and then eat together at Christmas eve.. We prepare spaghetti, crispy pata, red wine, cola, afritada and salad and cake and roast chicken. I love to eat during Holidays because there's alot of food during these days.. Now I am away and broke I don't know how to still celebrate it with my own small family. I want to go home but it will surely cost a lot and I can't afford to be in such a situation because we still have another occasion (New Year) Its hard to be broke during these times... But bills should go first right so.....

Christmas is not our traditional holiday, but in recent years,it becaomes more and more popular. Many department stores make full use of the opportunity to raise their business volume which we call promotion. So,for us,it's shopping time!During the holiday, many department stores will be crowded with people.Although it's not our traditional festival, that's true that it provides us a chance to escape from daily busy work, isn't?

celebrating Christmas does not mean of having a glamorous food in the table. what is important are those WHO were in the table. a simple dish will do as long as you know the real value of Christmas. its the birth of our savior Jesus Christ, and who were with Jesus that night, its with His mother Mary and father Joseph. thats the true and real essence of Christmas. to be with your family. happy and content on what you have. yes, bills must be your priority. if you choose to a glamorous celebration prepare yourself to be devastated by the bills. better choose whats the best. :)

I usually celebrate Christmas mediocre, as long as it can make things fun with people we care about. and most importantly, on this Christmas day we can celebrate by asking the prayers and hopes that in turn down what we want.

it is hard to be be broke in these times. and i do understand. and your family will also understand. just start your on little thing with your family. and enjoy the time that you do have with your family. and go see your mom and dad when you can. they will still love you no matter what.

I think I like your Christmas dinner! We are having turkey, (Mom got this for thanksgiving) so we are eating it at Christmas. We will have sweet potatoes, stove top stuffing (the only kind I like) and mashed potatoes. Oh yes, my daughter asked me to make green bean casserole. We will have egg nog to drink. Dessert is a lemon meringue pie and pumpkin pie! We are having an early morning casserole, that I will prepare Friday night. We will open gifts, and then watch home movies from Christmas's past, and then we will have our Christmas dinner. Four of the kids will be home for Christmas, while the other two are in Va. Our New Years...will be just another day, but I will try to stay awake to "ring" it in :)
