Was It Right?

So, my mom and I went to Union Bank yesterday to open an EON Cyber Account which I will use in my PayPal. We went to the bank then I gave my requirements (xerox copies of valid IDs), then I completed the form. The girl assisting me is so busy. She has three clients entertained all at the same time. After I passed my requirements and form, she just told me it is fine and I can go. So we left.
Has the process gone right? I thought we should have received a stab or something to prove that I should take something when I return. When we applied for a BDO account, we had a stab to present when we come back. I am not sure if things have gone right, but I guess so. She said we may leave, so we left. She told us to come back after two to three weeks due to the long process because of upcoming holidays.
Have you guys applied for a Union Bank account? Does it really go that way? I am just new to this kind of processes because I am just starting to make and have my own things.

At first I want to get a Unionbank EON card to verify my paypal account. But when I have known that it will take 2-3 weeks before I can get the card, I just get the Smart money instant card instead. It took me only almost an hour to get it. And you will only pay 100 pesos compared to the 350 for an EON card. Now I'm really satisfied with that. Plus it has added security so you won't hesitate doing transactions online.

ahhhh... I never knew that I can actually use SmartMoney to verify it. But I think I will just go with the EON. First, I am not a Smart user. Second... Well, I really cannot think of a second reason. But I really would like to start making bank accounts of my own because I used to name my account to my mother because I am under 18 but because I am turning 18 so soon, I would like to have some sort of things... I do not know how to say it. Maybe managing my own finances? hahahaha... I'm laughing at myself.

Yes you can verify your paypal or alertpay account using the Smartmoney card. And it is safe because everytime you do transactions online, it will ask you for your assigned pin so nobody else could use it.

I did it before,what I did to get a EON Cyber Account was they give me a form to fill up for debit card.Then, I passed my requirements (xerox copies of Birth certificate and valid ID's).Then, they told me to come back after three days I think.Then, when I come back I asked my debit card then I pay for it 350 pesos then they told me to deposit 100 pesos.They, they told me some usage of card and a little regulation so that I could not be punish. They also refer me to read more the rules and regulations of Union Bank website to be more aware and learn.And now, I have my card.At first, it's quite confusing and hard if you are a first timer to get this kind of stuff.Because, you don't know what do you, ask and to pass and next step.But, just trust yourself and always ask for those who knows.So that, you will not look gullible waiting there.And waste time,as long as you know to read,understand and comprehend.Then, you can go on it.

Yeah, that's exactly what i did when i applied for an eon account two years ago. I submitted two valid IDs and filled up a form. Then the teller told me to come back within ten days, it was in mid Dec. when I opened an account. When I returned the card was ready and I just paid the amount asked.No hassle at all.
