when you preparing a salad, what cream do you prefer to use? nestle cream or mayonnaise cream? i have tasted yesterday at mall, those free taste booth, and one of them are salad, i tried to have one and tasted it, and the taste is very delicious due to more mayonnaise mixed in salad. so i can say it more delicious when more mayonnaise will use in preparing a salad.

I dont use mayo or cream much for salads, except for a potato sald. There I make my own mayo and I put some olive oil in the potatos when I´m cutting them up and they are still warm so they absorb the good oil. The I put some homemade mayo withh the spices I want to.

I'm not sure about the rules on double-commenting on a discussion, but I promise this is an entirely different take from my last comment. There's some concern about the fat content of salad dressings being related to taste & with that there's the issue of it becoming unhealthy. On SBS last night, I was watching how they made a salad dressing directly from sea vegetable (in England, if I remember correctly), that was 100% fat-free, tasty & very healthy as well as working out cheaper than other oils, creams & mayo's. My guess is that something similar could / would / is coming to a restaurant near you!

Depends on what salad we will be making. For fruit salad, we prefer to add nestle cream. For macaroni we use mayo. It's much tastier when you add cream in your fruit salad added with a little condensed milk.

I've got a much better dressing than either of those. That commercial mayo, etc has a lot of nasty ingredients in it & tends to spoil the health aspect of an otherwise good salad! Mix olive oil & lemon juice in proportions that suit your taste & mix it in with a raw salad. Some of the best restaurants & cafe's use this idea too & it tastes fantastic, is healthy & very cheap & easy to make. Do try it!

i always prefer to use more mayonnaise than a nestle cream, i also tasted a salad which have a lot of mayonnaise, so this coming holiday, when i prepare salad, i will use mayonnaise.
