Hi mylotters, recently i am flooded with advertisements of these so called High Yield Investment Programs(HYIP), some claims to pay 200% to 4000% interest. I just wanted to know exactly what are these programs, are they all scams. Anyone having any experience with them please share.

You can earn a lot of money but take heed of the advice given here. You can lose a lot if you invest too much. A friend invested US$140,000 over a period of time. He kept reinvesting the money that he made instead of saving it. He used to earn $7,000 a month. When the site closed down he lost all his money. He had stated with $40,000. If he had saved it he would have had a good nest egg. I knew of one that was up for 7 years, a lot of my friends made thousands off it, unfortunately when I put in some money it closed down after two months. The moral of the story? You can make money, but you can also lose money. Be very cautious and don't expect to get anything back.

As far as I know, HYIPs are scams and they are Ponzi scams, in which when a new member joins in, a certain percentage of their earnings or investment will given to those who joined earlier, that's why they have such high 'returns'. But, these sites will not last. I was quite amazed by their business model at first, until I saw a discussion here, that says that it is indeed a scam.

Hello there. I was a member once of these Hyip schemes. I can only tell that this scheme is a total scam. Whenever you hear programs that can offer you in exchange enormous amounts of money, please stay away. You can take a look at my profile and see the programs that I am a member of and also got paid from. I also have payment proofs for anyone to see if in doubts.

HYIPs are all scams. They are ponzi schemes which will take your investment and scam you. Do not ever invest in an HYIP unless you don't want to ever see your money again.

HYIP investment programs are very risky. These are programs that offer a high return for investing into their program. Some HYIPs offer 140% after a week to 200% over a period of three days. However, these programs are pretty risky. Before you decide to participate in any of these HYIP programs, I suggest that you spend some extensive research on them. In my experience, I have made tons of profit from short-term HYIP programs but also have been scammed by a lot of people. I started HYIPing with Liberty Reserve with only $5 and after 3 months, I jumped to $150 but then I quit. HYIP monitors are your best friend in this field. HYIP monitors are websites that test HYIP sites. I usually check these sites to decide which programs I should invest my money in. The most low risk HYIP programs are those that offer a percentage over 30+ days (For example: .5-3.45%/day for 90 days. These sites are least likely to scam and they have been on HYIP monitors for a while. Keep in mind that most HYIPs are ponzi scams which are programs that return money from money paid by newcoming members rather from profit made from investments. This does not mean that you cannot make a profit from this method. It just means that the site is more riskier and there is a good chance that the site won't be there the following day.

All hyips are Ponzi schemes plain and simple. Money is simply shifted around not invested and eventually, because of this, the site will shut down.. Ever hear of any legitimate financial institution paying out at the rates that they promise? Of course not, they'd have to close down in days. They are good for no one except the owner who will take your money and run. Invest your money elsewhere.

They are High risk earning sites but they also pay good if you find some good ones it is a gamble in a way BUT saying that I actually make my living with them so they are not all bad but thats the risk you have to take and only ever invest what you can afford to lose much like if you go to a casino, if you want to know more then go to my profile there is some info there on my site.

I don't know much about HYIP, but as I understood, these programs promise unsustainably high return on investment. My advice is to not to go into these "businesses", because these companies are not reliable and you risk the invested money to be lost.

as was mentioned, this is a ponzi scheme. meaning, they wait until there are a lot of investors on the site before they run. if you can find an HYIP that uses paypal as processor then you can at least get back at them if you proceed to invest but if not then i suggest you to stay away. if you'd like to push your luck, try just a small amount, get your money and your earnings and STOP. do not reinvest. or if you do, make sure you just reinvest the earnings you received at first and wait for a few days before you invest again.
