Meaning or Purpose in Life

I personally believe that we are all here for a reason, that there is a greater purpose or meaning to our lives. I believe we all have a higher purpose or vision. What do your believe? Do you think that we are all here for a purpose, that we all have a mission to accomplish? Let's discuss.

Yes you are perfectly correct.The question is what is the reason and purpose of our lives.Are they different or only one.Secondly who is to decide.Is it the individual or others.These are the various doubts that arise when we think of the reason and purpose of our lives here.Howver we should first of all distinquish our selves from animals and birds which have no purpose except procreation.But we as human beings are different and God has bostowed us with the fculty of thinking.Therefore let us think and do good and avoid bad .....

Hi Beaufly, the more you think more you get muddled. I feel so confused when I think of the very purpose of our existence, it seems so pointless when you actually begin analysing. But , since we have life, we have to make the most of it without coming in others way or harming others ! all the best

Hmmmm, I can understand how the bigness of that question could seem pointless, confusing or frustrating but I believe that we are spiritual beings having a human experience, so in that vain, we are not just floating around here with no rhyme or reason. We are created from Source (I call my source God) and are Source (creators made in His own image). I guess I could ask, Do you believe that you are created from Source (God) and are Source (God...made in His Image and hence, like him, a creator)?

I think we are here to be the best we can be.I wish everybody felt that way & all this awful meaness that goes on all over the world would stop.

Hi, I think that we are all here to reach our highest potential but I think many are distracted by the environment and you have to make conscious choices about how to spend your time, who to be around, etc....I think we have to consciously seek good and seek higher living.
