Happy Birthday (?)

I have a friend whose birthday was yesterday. She is a very special friend of mine, someone I trusted and someone I enjoy talking to. I always treat her like a family, like an older sister. I greeted her through text and Facebook as early as 12:05AM yesterday, but until now (it's already 12:05AM, day after her birthday) I haven't had any response yet. We used to text each other frequently, but lately, I haven't texted her until yesterday due to broken promise. I understand her for not fulfilling it. But now I started thinking if I am also special for her because there were many times she failed me and if I am expecting too much from her. Maybe I'm not one of her priorities. I really think of these things when she fails me though I understand her always. Thanks for reading and I hope you could advise me. Thank you!
