Have you ever thought by talking to someone or chatting with someone that they look a certain way or act a certain way? you know those preconcieved notions about a person. then that one day you meet them or talk to them face to face and all your thinking about it the fact that they don't look like you thought or they don't act like you thought they should. I worked in sales and talked to peeps all the time and then when i met them i was like it can't be. has this happened to someone else or is it just me?

Hi bigcgifts. I'm sure your not the only one. I know I do it/have done it in the past. Most recently with a neighbor who just moved in. Whenever I saw her she seemed to be in a rush. I wouldn't have considered her "friendly" or "easy to talk to" but recently I ran into her at mutual friend's wedding. She is actually a very sweet, nice person. She is shy though so I think she's uncomfortable until she gets to know you. Just goes to show - you should never judge a book by it's cover. :) All the Best! Julia

It happens to me often, and I believe it is because I develop this need to create a visual affect of a person by simply what I heard them speak and or type. Soon after the person is completely the opposite of what I perceived, not a bad thing just simply my perception of what the person ought to look like.

It is a common problem with me. When I usually speak to them on phone, I expect a lot but when I see them in person its the other way. It happened to me several times and after that I just left as it is. I will not have any preconcieved notions about a person unless I see them.

Oh yeah, I've experienced such situations many times in my life. In university, I've seen people who look very grouchy and bossy, but then, when I have a chance to talk to them I see, that I have mistaken. A person turns out to be a really nice mate. There are many cases when I made friends with such people and till today we continue to communicate and meet each-other from time to time.

It has happened to me to make a fist negative or positive impression before meeting that person in real life, but in my case they always behave the same as in my mental image in real life. I suppose it depends on the person to show a fake face in the internet or not, and I have met the ones who didn't want to use a mask just because you couldn't see their faces. I prefer that

I never really had that experience but I am sure that there are plenty of people out there that have. You just have to remember that when you are talking online you have to also get to know that person not just do all the talking yourself. Also sad to say but most people that are online aren't really that honest because you can get away with pretty much anything online so I tend to not really trust too much online friendships. I know it's bad of me but I just try to be very careful and not get into something that might turn out bad for me.

now Internet marketin sharpshooter will show the core of the tips to talk to others. Do not just talk about yourself only! if you talk with your person, try not just talking about you just ... make them comfortable and enjoy what you're talking about, treat them just as you want in treatment by them, ask questions about themselves such as how your business, or ask what business you are doing ... ask something that makes him like to answer them :-)
