Well, this is my first discussion on myLot, so what better than to make it about one of my favorite roleplaying game series. Dragon Quest IX is the latest installment, and has some neat features that have been underused in the franchise, such as character creation and randomized dungeon exploring (called grottos). Feel free to ask anything about the game and I'll do my best to help you out. Of course, we can just use this thread to talk about the game in general. I'll start off with some basic questions and answer them myself to set up the tempo: - What's your favorite vocation? My favorite vocation is Paladin. - Favorite weapon type? Spears, or Swords. Not sure to be honest, but it's definitely one of those two. - Least favorite vocation? Thieves. Yuck!
