Hi myLotters! Some people want pets but don't have enough time to have bonding with them. What can you advise for those people who love to have one but very busy to bond with them? Thanks!

I'm sorry, it still sounds like you're negligent to you dog. If you really love your pet and considers it as part of the family, you should really find time to take care of them no matter how busy you are. It's ok asking for someone to take care of your dog when you're not around but eventually you'll get used to that and will depend on the other person to take care of your dog even if you're at home. If you're just going to depend on your sister, then you should give the dog to your sister then since she's more responsible.

hello, good day.... I have pet dog, and we had a lot of bonding together, i always call her name as if he is a baby. Maybe one of the things that we had to realize before we owned pets is that we should give them time and love so they would be able to return it back to you... having pets help us relieve our stress. That is one of my reason.

I think it is important to look at your lifestyle if you want to buy a pet. If you know that you have a busy life, or if you know that you travel a lot and often have to be be away from your home for several days, it is not a good a idea to choose a pet that needs a lot of attention like a dog. Fish or something like that might be a better idea. You still have a responsibility and there is still work involved as you will have to feed the fish and clean the fish tank, but it is not like a dog where you need time for walks outside, dog training, visits to the vet and the other responsibilies that you have a when you own a dog.

hi, i have experienced that one, i had a dog and i also had work during that time, when i go to my work i just i left my dog to my sister to feed for lunch, then in the evening my dog and i were bonding for 2 to 3 hours, and next morning same routine again. but when i was busy now at my work and never been bonding to my dog, i decided to send my dog into my mother, coz i cant bonding with my pet anymore. so if you cant bond with your pet, its better to send it to other people who can make bond to your pet.

I would reccomend a fish tank or a turtle. I have both along with 2 dogs. The most time consuming this about a fish tank or turtle tank is the fact that you have to clean the tanks out pretty regularly. My turtles are very low maintenance. They generally don't like to be handled and would rather bask or swim all day. I feed them once a day and clean the tank out once a week. The fish tank is the same way. The intial set up of both is very time consuming to get everything to be to the right specifications but after that it's very simple.

get a virtual pet.virtual pets like Tamagotchi or any games that require a person to raise a virtual pet will do.having a pet is like having a child.you have to take care of it like a child.aside from giving it food, shelter, and exercise,a pet will require your love and attention.for people who do not have time to spend with their pets, get a virtual pet instead.it will not require too much of your time and you can just switch it off once you get sick of it.

Dogs are out of the question, they require a lot of time and care. I think the best way, if possible, is to adopt a stray cat, one that comes just to eat and maybe sleep at home, and then goes back on the street. I have one just like that, and it hardly takes any time at all, apart from some visits to the vet. Fish tanks are also good for people who have a regular schedule. They're still time-consuming, because they need cleaning regularly, but they're good for a person who has, let's say, one hour every three days to use for this activity.
