Hello myLotters, Been about 4 months since the last topic I had here in myLot..Today I decided to start a new topic but its hard for me to mold it.I can't make a good start about what I'm going to post.It feels like I'm a newbie after all this time.. Its kinda feeling of uncertain or maybe kind of doubt that I can have it done. I just hope i could have the courage to have start a new topic, just like before. I'm just curious if you had this kind of feelings after you have taken a long vacation here in mylot. Maybe you could share your feelings and how you overcome, how you did it? That would serve an inspiration and encouragement for me to start a new discussion. Thank you and Have a nice day everyone!!

Hello Cloud31, It's about time you got back, you've been gone quite a while too. well, the uncertain part is that i tend not to continue when ever i feel that the topic is not suitable, not complete, believed it's been done before and probably lack of creativity and ideas. I don't make much topics now a days as I have been busy with comment responses on other discussions instead. You only get rid of the feeling once you get the idea. but don't force yourself in making topics that you're not sure of. it can be incomplete or ends up something similar. or you can just comment on other people instead based on you're interest. Have a great day

The courage? Why four months and why the need of courage. Like the cowardly lion. I don't usually have a long vacation from Mylot. Maybe I should. I just go with topics about what I am thinking about. ALot of times it is something I know that my fellow mylotters would be interested in. Like family issues or relationships. THose are usually good ones. Come on you can do it! Surprise us!

Hi cloud, Its almost three years now I have been on mylot and many times I have been off the scene and the moment I wish to resume I post a new discussion. This would work as a sign that you are back into action. And I admit it is difficult to start a new discussion after a long gap here. But someway one has to do, as you have posted this one. And about hesitation and unease - they are normal.

Hello krajibg, You are right saying its not easy to come up with to a new topic after a long period being out of here. The thing I observed right now is that with those responses from all my friends can give such courage to keep going. And I hope you can have it too. Have a nice day.Thank you for being here with me too.

I have never really been away long from myLot, since I've only just started doing this, but I think what you should do is write any subject down whenever you have an idea for a discussion or put it in your phone or something like that. If you're unsure about this subject being a good one or not just post it and see what happens, if you don't try you'll never know. Good luck with it.

I am almost ready to start a new discussion, but am uncertain as to what to discuss. However right now I do not have that much time, because I would love also to comment on the responders. Also I would like to get more then a few people answering my posts. On the other hand, I am wary about those who start new posts that are merely one or two sentence questions and that will get deleted. You of course are not in that category because you usually go into great depth. . I am also wary about discussion something that I will get flamed or insulted for. And yet I love to discuss religion and politics. And that is my whole problem.

Hello suspenseful, That we have the same weary of something unable to creat a better idea of what topic we have to discuss due to my absence in mylot.I usually have an interaction with you the days I was here just before my absence. This time I was trying to mold a better topic to be able to post a better one.. As I'm hoping we can both have courage to do it no matter what kind of topics we get interested in. With regards to your problem, some mylotters had the same interest of you like religions and politics so you don't have to worry about the feed back of your topics I'm pretty sure there are members who'd love to discuss such topics too. Have a great day ahead and Good luck to you! Thanks for being here!!

Posting a discussion on Mylot is always an iffy situation. I've been here just about five years and still don't know whether a discussion will be good or bad. Just today, I started a discussion asking a question about when earnings update, cause my own earnings hadn't updated. I was really worried and just wanted some advice. I heard from everyone about how i was breaking rules and my discussion would be deleted. But, I stood my ground and just kept asking the question, cause it was something I needed to know. Finally someone came by and told me that their earnings hadn't updated either, so we were all in the same situation. I was very much appreciative of the effort they put into answering my question, instead of just pointing out how wrong I was for posting a question. My point is that you have to stand behind your discussions and believe in what you say or no one else will either. I'm sure you will find great success with your discussions. Just stay stead fast in what you know.

I rarely ever post discussions in here anyway, so it doesn't affect me one way or the other. I find it much easier to just post responses as I don't have to come up with a topic, and that can be difficult at times. I enjoy giving my feedback for other discussions, so I think I will just keep doing that, and only start discussions only once in a great while. good luck to you and happy mylotting.

Hello Ms rosekiss, At the moment maybe I should try your way to get me back in track. That would surely help. Thank you do much for having you here! Have a nice day ma'am..

I'm actually new around here and but I've been with forums before, most of the time martial arts forums. It's a bit awkward especially if you haven't been writing for a while now. You have to start with the things that are really close to your heart. With that said, is it OK to start a discussion here in MyLot regarding my business?I mean inviting people and such?

I have never been absent fro that long in Mylot but sure. There were times that it was difficult for me to post a new topic here. Matter of fact, it has been days that I haven't posted a new topic after my last. Sometimes, i just don't feel motivated or I dont' have the interest about anything or anyone. It is difficult to think and post something that has quality. So, what I am doing is that I respond to the discussed topics here.:) Happy holidays.:)

I have been a member for over a year and I have only started two discussions. The reason is I can't think of anything interesting to start it about. I usually just respond to my friends posts and my interests and by then I am too tired to start one of my own anyway.
@cloud31 (5809)
28 Dec 10
Hello cerebellum, Well, yeah maybe start a discussion is much tiring than having yourself respond to others topic. And its much ease to just look over your interest and of course not much thing to do ulike having your own topic. I guess I will do the same for the meantime, until i get myself back to track/ Thank you and Have a nice day!

I have some discussions in the back of my mind. Right now, however, I don't think I'll have all that much time to keep up with them to the level I want to. In another week or two sure, but right now, everything is insane and my time on here varies. I tend to only post discussions on days where I know where I'm going to spend a lot of time on here and that is not every day. However, when the time is right, I'll be posting new discussions and I'm sure there are others that would agree.

Hello megamatt, I agree of what you've just mentioned, when we have topic coming up to our mind unless we have mood to do so then we go on with that.. I'm looking forward that I can get bcak to track as I had before. Anyway thank you for having you here and Have a nice day!

Yeh i had this few weeks back now were i had not been on mylot for about 2 months. It did feel a little bit wierd but i got use to it as i made some new friends on here and connected again with my older mylot friends. If i was you then i would try and reply to a few discussions before starting some more as then people will get to know you better and you will be able to make more money out of the discussions you make as you will be able to chat to the people in the comments.
