It's few month more then it's spring time for planting time again but we have early plan for our garden this 2011. We want to plant more pickles and make a pickle relish. we have to make a layer of strawberry patch make fence around it so animal won't eat them all. We found new variety of corn to plant too. This year we won't plant potatoes because bugs are too annoying have to pick theme piece by piece.grr.! we will plant different kinds of vegetable this year that we can preserved that will last us through winter time. Have to arrange my flower garden too.. What is your garden plan in 2011.?

I'm afraid that I don't have a piece of garden to plant any trees. It's bad!

I am in Summer in my part of the world. After many years of not having a veggie garden, I decided to start one this year. I had successes and failures. The green beans were eaten by snails which even made me think of harvesting the snails for a risotto. But I have beautiful potatoes, the tomatoes are still green but beautiful, I have eaten lettuce, arugule and radishes, I have had a small zuchinni crop due to my lack of experience. Next year I´ll know more. The green peppers a in bloom: I hope they give a couple. I also had some garlic from grown garlic in the kitchen. My daughter gave me 6 rasperry plants. This Summer they just gave a handful of raspberries but I´m hoping for a better yield next spring.

I haven't decided much beyond actually planting a vegetable garden this year, some nice flowers up front and maybe(Finally) get a nice rose Bush. But it is hard to say at this point, I know though, that if I want pickles, I will be sure to plant some cucumbers ;). I am always very busy, and big projects like that tend to get put off way too much, for a vegetable Garden, I have to dig out a whole section of my yard, the flowers out front will be easy, because I have the planters and places ready already. The Rose Bush, well I have to find a good place to put it. Once they are planted then it is as simple as spending a half hour to an hour each day, out in the afternoon sun, turning soil, pulling weeds, and loving my plants. Sincerely and With Appreciation.
