Back to an online earning after ages!

TagVillage and Kooday are currently really popular so you might want to check them out. They're both search engines with keyword purchase functionality. With Kooday I have a keyword empire of 2500 dollars and started with 5 or 10 bucks can't remember. With TagVillage I am a pre-launch member. TagVillage is pretty cool because they'll be integrated in facebook so it could well be the next farmville if it comes to popularity. Other than that I have no idea about new trends. :)
