Silly Me!

I bought a rechargeable cordless mouse last month...November 17th, to be exact. I was loving it until three days ago (December 27th) when it suddenly quit working for no apparent reason. I tried plugging it in to recharge but could not get the light to come on that says it was charging. Well, I was convinced that it was defective and wrote to the company saying as much. Well, I pulled out my old mouse which I still had and was using it as backup. Then one day I noticed that the charger had a plugin to it that had come loose and was unplugged on the end opposite the end that plugs into the wall. After a little fiddling around with it, lo and behold, my mouse started charging again! Now I'm back using it and am once again happy but silly me! How could I have missed that? Boy, do I feel silly now. Have you ever had something like that happen to you? Isn't it embarrassing? LOL

All the time! lol!!That is so funny! so just like something I would do! I cannot think of a particular instance right now but through times like those I have learned not to rail on others quite as quickly. Now I always start letters like that with .. "Not sure what I am doing wrong but..."

My daughter and I were talking about this the other day! How we are talkin' all this smack and like "I don't have to put up with this .. gonna tell 'em how it is!" And all that! Then we answer the phone and it's like, "hi! How are you?" nice and sweet...talkin' about being all bad a** and then too sweet!

LOL...I hear you loud and clear there. I had a boss one time laugh at me because of my phone manner. I had come into the house huffing and puffing over something I thought the garage had done wrong with my car...it may have been a charge on my bill I had not expected. Anyway, I went to the phone saying I was gonna chew their ear off and when the guy answered, I was sweet as pie in asking for an explanation. He had a good explanation so my anger was assuaged but my boss thought it funny the total change in my demeanor as soon as the guy answered the phone.

I have the habit of using my optical mouse on my own thigh! I obviously have to put it down sometimes, like to drink coffee or to type fast with both hands. Slowly, as the evening passes, the cable gets tangled with my headphone cord. I normally end up half strangled and unable to stand up. That isn't embarrassing. What is, is that I do it every single day! What is worse is that I have cordless headphones and a cordless mouse sitting in my drawer waiting for me to buy new batteries for them.

Doncha just love these little habits we get into? Even if they are self-defeating, we are so entrenched in our comfort zones, we are loathe to give them up! I hear you about the batteries, though. Those puppies can be really expensive and a real drain on the ol' budget! This is why I bought the rechargeable mouse to begin with. I thought I was solving my problem...but then found a whole new problem to have.

Yeah, that happen to me a lot, and I just found myself reckless, and come to the end judgment all at once. I did have such problem when I rush things, and I didn't come to think about it clearly myself. Well, it is good that you know what you wrongdoing.
