Hey all Recently, i have been seeing many adverts on tv and on amazon telling me to get a film called scott pilgrim versus the world. I was wondering if anyone had actually seen this movie. Is it any good? I am hoping for a sort of action comedy. , whilst i am at it, can anyone tell me if the film kick a s s (had to serperate the letters) is any good? Also, do you have any good comedy film recommendations as well?

I've seen Scott Pilgrim Vs The World about 3 weeks ago and it was pretty good , seen a few better movies , seen a load worse movie movies... It has action , it's also a comedy movie but it has those weird cartoonish animations like POW POW when they hit eachother which I didn't really like but made the movie pretty unique. By the way , by action I don't mean like a buff guy with a machinegun beating the living daylight outta everything in his way , it's a punch n'slap kinda movie with a bunch of flying letters everywhere . Comedy movies ... Ugh... Lately I've seen the two Deuce Bigalow movies , you'll love them if you're a perverted guy , such as myself . You should also check out Easy A , the Scary Movie series and the American Pie series ( the American Pie series is another bunch of really well made perverted movies ) Cheers!

I saw Scott Pilgrim twice now, but it's not my type of movie. To really appreciate it, you have to have played video games (which I haven't done much of myself). The story is told as if it were a video game. My son loves this movie, and so does my daughter (they're both gamers). They think it's hilarious, but I'll give it an A for effort as far as its creativity. Since I'm not a gamer, I'm not that into this movie.

Aha, those movie suggestions do not, how shall i say it, bode with my style of movie. I once watched the first 10 minutes of american pie, and immediately concluded that it was not my type of movie. I dont like bedroom scenes and the like in movies. They dont make it funny, only crude. I like my humour to be more of a quirky type. And Lizzyshomework, i actually really enjoy video games, and what you have said has actually really tempted me to watch it now!

I actually haven't seen it, but I think that it's probably those watch-one-time kind of movies. I think it would keep my attention through the movie, but I'm not going to go run out and buy it. I am thinking that Kickass might be funny. I really haven't had the chance to see any movies for a while. And I bet I could think of many good comedies, but nothing new. Is it just me, or has there not been any good movies coming out lately? The only one I've been looking forward to seeing is Tron.

I really want to watch kickass as well, and i too cannot think of any funny films. It seems now a days a funny film is just a film with crude scenes added. I mean, anchorman, the funniest movie of all time, had no bedroom scene per se, not in the usual fashion, but i have spent ages trying to find a film of similar comedy style, but without a dodgey bedroom scene, makingit awkward to watch with both family and friends alike. Its stupid!

Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World - Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World, starring Michael Cera, Mary Elizabeth Winstead and Kieran Culkin
I have read the reviews of Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World and it seems to be a good movie to watch. I haven't seen Scott Pilgrim Vs. The World yet, but this movie does have a good rating, so probably I will be watching this movie soon ...
