Would you like to talk to Transactional Customer Service Representatives?

People from the Customer service whether they are on the phone or you are personally talking to them are always that helpful. (most of them actually) But do you want to talk to people on the phone who sounded like an automated voice response? Yes they do help you with your concern but it will still be nice if you will be talking to a very enthusiastic and warm representative who will make your day bright as well while catering to your concerns. You will feel like you will be valued as a customer and it will feel like they are really happy in helping you out. Do you agree with me guys? or it would be ok with you if the person sounds robotic or scripted as long as they resolve all your concerns? Thank you so much for your nice responses.

I hate it when I get phone calls were the person is just reading off a script. You try to tell them something and they just keep on going. Then if they stop to listen it seems there must be a section where it says to read this other line.... I have talked to individuals that just made you feel like you were nobody important on the other line. Now that I think about it they do sound happy to have been able to help which makes me wonder if they are always like that or if they are just having a good day.

Thank you for this nice response! For me there is nothing wrong reading a script when they still try hard to resolve all my concerns. But it would be rude when I try to speak out just like what you said then they will just keep on talking. That is a clear mistreat of one customer. It is really a wonderful experience if you get to talk to a representative that is happy and sounds enthusiastic while so glad solving your concern. Have a great day!

I prefer people who sound like people, when they sound like robots it annoys me. When I worked in a call centre they encouraged us to imagine that we were talking to our best friends because they didnt want us to sound robotic. Its easier to help people when you are talking to them as you would normally speak, instead of just sticking to the script.

I believe that each of the customer's concern is unique with other customers as well so I take each call according to how I can help them and personalize the call. I would know how these representatives feel to talk 8 hours a day helping out their customers. So I would really understand if somehow they sound transactional already whenever they tend to my requests. as long as they can help me out then that would not be a problem with me whether they sound robotic or sounded like real people who are happy to resolve my issues.
