my star goes down again !

I am a newcomer in mylot but what I think is that you have to post high quality discussion topic to start with and also regarding the discussion responses, you have to provide valuable and different points other than everyone. So that it makes your post somewhere exceptional then I think your rating will be stable. And I think user rating is also important in this case.

I wouldn't worry about it too much. Not everyone is going to like everything that is written all the time. I know I don't like it when people come across as being none English speaking because their sentences are broken up or don't make sense. I also don't like it when people try to get you to let them "refer" you to a scam site. And lastly, I give negatives to people that try to enforce their beliefs upon me by ridicule.

When you joined myLot there were several users who gave you a lot of advice and you used it and you were doing fine. I am absolutely certain that you are being plussed too but it seems that there are others who get a kick out of rating negative just for the fun of it Our rating affects our earnings and if your star rises you will be able to comfirm this because you will see a huge difference. The same posts that you are writing now would be worth more if your star was higher. The choice to continue or to start again can only be yours and I gave you advice and an alternative. I would like to see you stay with this account and prove to yourself that it is possible to increase your star - but if you decide to cancel my suggestion is there so that I can help you make up for what you have lost.

I strongly recommend for you to start Over.some one's on to you and i don't know who it is. i mean some one's been neg rating you from the start. some is abusing the negative rating...(again)

Post high quality content and people will give you a positive rating. Lots of positive ratings will make your star rank go up. Trust me, star rank has importance to it because a Level 10 has much more credibility than a level 1.

hello singup, I know the feeling when the stars is going down it means that you got negative rating like what i felt 2 days ago i was surprise to find out that my stars go down i feel so sad about this coz i am thinking why someone is trying to abuse the positive and negative ratings here :(, maybe i am not really good in responding and discussion :(. To be honest, I have to much fun writing and responding to the posts to even worry about the star rating. They go up, they go down. You can have an awesome post and someone might still give it a negative rating, however there are features here on mylot that can keep someone from rating you negatively all the time. Relax and have fun on the site. Answer the posts that you have interest in and your ratings will improve, as we seem to have more to offer when there is a subject we are truly interested in. Just work harder friend. My star just drop from 8 to 7 because someone dislike the content of my discussion which I started. We are here to discuss and to show our opinions. Everyone has the right to raise his or her point of view. When you disagree to certain opinion, the the relevant party will against you badly. May god bless them to have a kind heart.

Just keep posting a lot of informative, helpful responses. There's nothing else you can do, if people like your responses your star rating will go back up, so as long as you're being polite and not offending anyone, don't worry about it. Plus you only have 182 responses, it won't be too hard to raise your rating from there.

Well, it happens to many people here. I have also faced this situation when my 8 star dropped down to 6 star but in 1 week it gnt back to 8 star. If do not post good quality content it happens and also when other people rate you negatively. So what you have to do is post good quality content just and you can rech there soon. Happy mylotting. Hi friend, Yes, kolsti87 is correct you must posted quality response which other rated. Also you must be active in responding and posting discussion. Just go on and be polite and with manner in responding discussion so that your friends would like you here. When I reach 100 my star was 8 or 9 but after 500 9 star is maintaining now.. Since I never give any big issue about that - I just responding to those I like to response with a quality and informative... see you around

Elaborate what you want to say. Don't just comment in one sentence,sometimes we get positive ratings if our answer is very well explained and written. Goodluck!
