People just don't understand I already say "no".

I understood that my co - worker just want to be nice. Since it is new year day, he wants to call me up and say "Happy New Year" to me. He also invited me to join him at lunch during the New Year day. I already refused him nicely, because I had another plan. He didn't give up on that, he called me again this morning. Really early in the morning, I just can't answer his phone, so he left a message to invite me to lunch again. I have to see a dentist this morning, so I can't really answer him yet. While I was in the dentist office have my teeth cleaning, he called again 2 or 3 times. I just have to call him back, and told him, I am really busy at the moment. I just can't go to lunch. Gosh, how many times I have to said "no", so people just understand it?

Some people have really have that kind of attitude.Maybe he thinks that you are a very nice person that is why he so persistent in inviting you to lunch.Well its nice that people are thinking nice about you.If ever you come across a situation like this and still you are busy,try to say no in a nice manner.
It is okay to say no sometimes just as long as you have a valid reason and you wouldn't turn down that person becoz you just want to.Try to be more patient still respect the people who are forcing you to do something even if you can't.Just think that you are a nice person that is why many people wants to be friends with you..
