I found a movie called The Orphanage that looked really good...

but when I got it home I found out why it was only five dollars. The movie is done in the Spanish language only. You have to read the captions underneath to find out what it is saying. To me, this was distracting but I am picky because I have attention deficit disorder. I was really looking forward to watching the movie last night but was disappointed when I found out that it was in a language that I don't really understand. It is a horror movie but thats not why I bought it. It is a ghost story and I love ghost stories. I searched on the internet hoping to find an English version but there isn't one so I will be exchanging it for a more understandable movie in the near future.

Orphanage was pretty good. I always watch movies in their native language with subs. Otherwise it's not the right experience. But I'm not American so I used to watch even Hollywood movies with subs before I learned English. Give it a try and watch it in Spanish.

i have seen this film. saw it a while ago. i really enjoyed it! i dont mind watching subtitled films. but i need to be in the right mood to want to watch one. so i dont like it when i get a film to watch and i didnt know it was subtitled. that happened with a film called pan's labyrinth, i had heard a few things about it and the story sound good. so rented it sat down to watch it and at 1st i was thinking maybe its just the start but then 10 mins later i knew it was subtitled! but still i stayed with it and really enjoyed. so you should at least give them ago!

I did watch it and it was a good movie but it was hard for me to get into it when I heard the words in another language and had to read it. I bought this at Walmart and I feel like it should have said on the front it was in Spanish because I really was not expecting the foreign language.

This movie is interesting, you just read a bit about it in English and watch it.As far as I remember, I didn't pay any attention to the subtitles, knowing the story it was easy to watch it.You still get the thrill.Words don't matter much in this horror story, you can get the idea perfectly.

It did have good action in it. That made it a little easier to overlook the foreign language.

Hey!! I watched that movie two times. I think its great. The kid is so lovely. And the mother's acting was really noticeable. Further more, I really dont mind to watch subtitled movie. I am a little bit habituated with this. But I will recommend you to watch it fully. Its very nice and very tragic.

That's too bad. I actually liked the film. But I was just like you, I did not find out it was subtitled until I actually viewed it. Lucky for me I don't mind the subtitles. But I also looooove ghost stories. There is nothing better than curling up with the lights out and a bowl of popcorn and watching a really good ghost story. I particularly love the mystery element of the story, where there are a lot of clues that lead up to the reason for the story. I hope you find another good movie...in english this time:)

I bought one named "Werewolf". The cover looked fancy but i've grown tired watching it. It's a low-budget movie. The friggin' werewolf looked like one of Ronald Mcdonald's friends. Seems like a group project of film students.

I have never seen this movie. But can I tell you that I am very fluent in the Spanish Language, but find that if I see any captions below my brain wants to read instead of watching the film. I find this to be very irritating for me as I cannot concentrate on the films effects as I am too busy reading.
