A gift from someone....

Well today I got a gift through the mail by a fellow MyLotter and Facebook friend. It couldn't have come at a better time when I feel so alone without my parents. I opened up the package and it was a dish cloth made by her plus a card. I wanted to cry because it was the most thoughtful gift someone has given me this year. E-mails are nice but when you get something in the mail it seems so real. I just wanted to express how special it was to get something from someone who really doesn't know you other than through the internet. She lives clear across the United States but she took the time to send me something. Has anyone ever sent you a gift that was priceless?

I cannot think of anything exactly. I do know that people have given me their friendship. I have been privileged to meet and share with some of my online friends. I am going to have to look at your profile and get to know you more. It is sad that you feel alone without your parents.

Most of my life has been at their side visiting them or calling them everyday. My youngest kids don't understand why they are included in not being able to talk to their tata. Just to get this little dish cloth full of colors meant so much. She did give me a card as well telling me that she was thinking about me. We traded addresses this last month but I never thought she would actually write. God bless her.
