hi, i think, use hair conditioner to make your hair soften, and if hair conditioner didn't work for your hair, maybe its better to go at salon and ask what is best for your hair.

U need to use a good shampoo & conditioner. They do cost more money but are worth it in the long run. I did hair for 47 years & know how important they are to your hair. I would cut corners on something else before i'd use cheap things on my hair.

Put baby oil every night or every other night and massage it in your scalp before you sleep, you will see it will soften your hair.

Try mayonnaise, it's a hair conditioner. It will help to soften your hair. Avoid using commercial shampoo too often because it has harsh chemicals that damage our hair. Me? I am using shampoo like twice a week and a commercial conditioner every other day. Because I know for a fact that too much shampoo and conditioner will lessen our hair's natural oil. I hope that helps and good luck in your hair.
