2007 Honda Accord V-6 question

I have a 2007 Honda Accord Sedan with the v-6 engine, I have found out this Honda has unbelievable acceleration and I was wondering if it had a different type of v-6 engine as I have another newer car that has a v-6 and it's acceleration is nothing compared to the Honda.
