Changing running routes..

I'm training for the half that will be coming up in May. Since I am gradually adding miles to my run each week I am having to switch up some of my usual routes. This morning I just made a different turn and created as I went! I am setting my goals for certain distances. So that means I have to find them on the map and plan them a little better to get my miles in. This has totally refreshed my running rather than running the same two or three routes all the time... how often do you change up your running routes?

Oh great good for you, I don't run, It's not yet applicable for my health, I just do some exercise at home. But you know my husband same as you almost everyday if not busy always run and always changing routes, he likes seeing another view.

It's the only time I get out of the house so I enjoy my run weekday mornings!

I don't run but I can understand why you'd want to change your route. Like with any excercise routine it can get boring doing the same thing the same way everyday.

That's true plus I am wanting to add some miles so I had to change it up a little bit!

I am too lazy to run in this winter but I like the idea of changing the routes. I am in a place which is more like a village so not many routes but I am always delighted to find the new routes when I travel on my vehicle. It is refreshing and keeps adding to the knowledge.

Yeah, I am quite the explorer. So I am always looking for new ways to go. A lot of times I have no idea how far I ran until I get back to the house!
