Should Cellphones be banned inside college campus?

There are lot of problems arising because of usage of cellphones inside college campus. Some common problems are using camera phone for taking photographs of girls and putting them in trouble, using mobiles inside classroom and disturbing the class, etc... what do you think? Is it right to ban cellphones inside college campus?

I think students should be able to have cell phones with them at all times in case of emergency.

I think all students should sign some kind of violation letter so if the are caught breaking the rules on using cell phones on campus they can be suspended. They would think twice before breaking the rules. I don't think bannning them alltogether is good. Many students of children in daycare while at school and other ligetimate reason to be reached.

I feel the students should be asked to keep the cellphones in their lockers and after the classes are over they can use it.
