Are there people here who are married with someone from another culture? I'm Turkish and married with a Belgian. Our relationship is sometimes difficult because of cultural differences. How do you overcome those differences? How can you live in harmony? It took us 15 years to understand each other.

I am an Indian who married an American. We have been married for around two years, exactly, day after tomorrow is our second wedding anniversary. We have been doing a very good job understanding each other's cluture. The important thing is to have an open mind to accept other person and his/her culture. Sometimes things appear difficult to me, but soon I will understand things and mingle with the culture.

Respect to ones other belief and culture plays a very important role in your relationship. Just try to enjoy each others different culture and set differences aside
