Is it okay to send prospective employer 10 snapshots of mine?

Hi Guys,
I am applying online and when the employer interview me, he told me to send him 10 snapshots of me. Do you think it is legitimate? I asked him why and he told me that they are required to keep record of the VAs. Do you think it's really necessary? Maybe if it's only one, why not right? But 10 snapshots? For what? Please help me decide. Thanks in advance and good luck to all of us.

I would never send ten...one or two, yes. But ten is way over the top!!

For me, I won't send him 10 snapshots... That's too much. I mean, an employer may ask a picture at most 2 pics. If more than that, I doubt if the work is legitimate. There are many scammers out there in the internet and be careful whom to trust...
