Do you drink? Did your parents drink?

Study shows that teens who have parents that drink are more likely to take up drinking as well... Coming from an alcoholic father, I believe that some of this is true... What do you think? Anyone in the same situation? Do you think alcoholism is genetic?

I was brought up with a very strick father and a pretty easy going mum. My dad wasnt a drinker and my mum was.. At about 16 I started drinking like a fish, most weekend spent at mums partying with friends.. Im 10 now and dont drink anymore, but my dad does and my mum can only drink 3 cans...
