Did you ever get an opportunity to ride on ELEPHANTS?

When I was young like till the age of 8 or so,an elephant would pass through our street in Chennai daily.I would sit on it and go for a ride for about 10 minutes.Then we used to give it a ruppee in its truck and it would bless us!

Ya, I had an oppurtunity to ride on a elephants once in my life time. I was too young at that time and was very much scared. But, after sitting on it, I was enjoying and I was feeling as if, I was flying in air! I really enjoyed that instance!

Oh yes i've taken lots of elephant safaris in corbett national park. i love it there. these safaris are generally for two hours and i thoroghly enjoy these trips in the jungle.

It was amazing. It was at a place called Bandipur in india.It was a ride for 5 mins. Had a pay but a little amout but it was worth it. it was an amazing ride through the forest.

not yet..i hope i can ride someday probably when i visit thailand maybe next year.. hope so :)

Yeah I had that experience once during my visit to Thailand few years back. It was included in our entry fees and the place was wild safari. I have to say that it was some other kind of experience while ride on top of elephant.....have a very good view as it was quite high but its not very nice to be on top...LOL....imagine how's elephant walk you can figure it out:)

Yes. I and members of my family and members of my-brother-in-law family had been to a forest known as Bandipur (It is a tiger sanctuary). At the sanctuary, the authorities said we can go into forest on a elephant (1/2 km only). 12 of us got on the elephant (there was seating arrangement on the body) and we had a very memorable ride.They charged 20C for each person.

Once. It was fun. I was about 13. Me and my family took a family vacation at Thailand. I got to ride the elephant and sit on their lap(leg) and took a pictures.

yes. renassaince fair in mt. hope, pennsylvania. i enjoyed it as it wasn't something everyone can say they did.

YES WHEN I USED TO BE A KID... I HAD RIDDEN ON AN ELEPHANT 3-4 TIMES... THAT WAS REALLY A GOOD EXPERIENCE... MISSING MY SCHOOL DAYS YET...

yes i got this oppurtunity once while i was young in the islamabad zoo.i rode on the elephant for about 5 minutes and really was very happy.

I have gone on a few elephant rides at the zoon and at the cicus. I think there was a small charge a both. I think they lasted 2-3 minutes. Elephants are cool. It is ashame that so many trainers abuse them.

Rode one once at the zoo in Los Angeles..was kind of uncomfortable..but I guess an unforgetable experience.

Bangladesh. 5 mins in a zoo. Was hard tough skin and prickly hairs. - not what I exspected.

It was different...the elephant was hard and stinky.
